Houstonia Man Arrested in Handcuffing Incident
A Houstonia man was arrested in Sedalia on November 15 on kidnapping and domestic assault charges after being accused of trying to handcuff another person.
Sedalia Police were dispatched to the 1700 block of W. Main St. to investigate the incident. They say the suspect, 37-year-old Kevin D. Patton, was located in the 200 block of Thompson Rd. According to a police report, Patton admitted to attempting to handcuff the victim, who had physical injuries to her wrist.
Patton was taken to the Pettis Co. Jail and placed on a 24-hour hold. Police say charges are being submitted for 3rd degree kidnapping and 4th degree domestic assault.
