Houstonia Teen Injured in I-70 Rollover
A Houstonia teen was injured in a one-vehicle accident that occurred Sunday morning in Lafayette County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that an eastbound 2009 BMS 328I, driven by 19-year-old Mykola Shcherbatuik of Houstonia, was on I-70 at the 31.4 mile marker around 2 a.m., when the driver lost control due to road conditions and overturned.
Shcherbatuik suffered minor injuries and he refused medical treatment on scene. He was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash, according to the report.
The BMS was totaled and towed by Jackson County Tow.
Lafayette County Deputies assisted the Patrol.
