West-Central Independent Living Solutions is excited to announce that Teresa Huffman has recently been appointed the Resource Development Manager at WILS.

She comes to WILS after serving as an Operations and Administrative Coordinator at UCM’s Elliott Student Union for 15 years. Huffman has extensive experience in volunteer coordination, fundraising, and event planning.

Her certifications, accomplishments, and awards are many. Huffman’s abilities to conduct needs assessments, work under pressure, engage with others, and communicate effectively will be wonderful assets to WILS. Please give her a warm welcome as she reaches out within the community to strengthen WILS presence and partnerships.

Huffman says, “I have always felt most at home when I am serving others. I am overjoyed to have the opportunity to serve others in exciting new ways in many of the communities of West-Central Missouri with WILS."

Teresa lives with her husband, Jeff, a Prevention Specialist at Whiteman Air Force Base. She is the proud mother of three and grandmother of six. She is an active member in the community, and currently serves on the Whiteman Air Force Base Scholarship awards committee When she’s not working or volunteering her time, you can find her traveling or enjoying an outdoor adventure with her friends and family.
