Jeff City Teen Injured When Truck Strikes Tree

A Jeff City teen was injured in a one-vehicle crash that occurred in Cole County on Tuesday morning.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a northbound 2001 Chevy S-10 driven by 19-year-old Devin S. Koelling of Jefferson City, was at 10913 Highway W at 6:48 a.m, when the truck traveled off the right side of the roadway, became airborne and struck a tree.

Koelling suffered moderate injuries, and was transported to Capital Regional Hospital by private vehicle.

The Chevy had extensive damage.
