Johnson County Rollover Kills Imperial Man

A Johnson County Wreck claimed the life of an Imperial man early Saturday morning.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported that a westbound 1997 Chevy Camaro driven by 25-year-old Kevin R. Barron of Imperial was on M2 at SW County Road 1651 at 2:40 a.m., when the vehicle ran off the right side of the roadway, struck a ditch and overturned, partially ejecting the driver.

Barron was pronounced dead at the scene by Coroner Clark Holdren at 5:52 a.m. He was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash, the Patrol reported. The body was taken to the Johnson County Coroner's Office.
