Johnson County Wreck Injures Emma Teen

An Emma teenager suffered moderate injuries on Monday when she ran off the road and struck a ditch.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 19-year-old Fayth L. Caldwell was the driver of a westbound 2017 Ford on NE 175th Road, 75 feet west of NE 151 Road in Johnson County at 5:50 p.m., when she attempted to turn right and an uninvolved vehicle was in the lane of traffic. Caldwell ran off the right side of the roadway and struck a ditch.

She was taken to Western Missouri Medical Center for treatment by JCAD. She was wearing a safety device, according to a report.

The Ford has extensive damage and was towed from the scene by Tip Top Towing.
