
Knob Noster Man Injured After Car Strikes Tree
A Knob Noster man was injured in a one-vehicle accident that occurred Saturday afternoon in Johnson County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that an eastbound 2009 Kia Sedona, driven by 65-year-old Gene A. Tesmer of Knob Noster, was on US 50, west of County Road NW 751 Road at 2:50 p.m., when Tesmer experienced a medical issue, causing the vehicle to travel off the right side of the roadway and strike a tree.
Tesmer suffered serious injuries, and was transported to KU Medical Center by JCAD for treatment. He was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.
The Kia was totaled.
