Knob Noster Woman Injured in JoCo Accident

A Knob Noster woman was injured in a one-vehicle accident that occurred Saturday afternoon in Johnson County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a westbound 2018 Dodge Challenger, driven by 33-year-old Amber M. Murphy of Knob Noster, was on US 50 Highway, just east of NE 501 Road at 2:25 p.m., when the vehicle ran off the roadway and struck a fence.

Murphy suffered minor injuries, and was transported to Western Missouri Medical Center for treatment.

The Dodge had extensive damage and was towed from the scene.
