Below is a sampling of cases that were resolved in the Circuit Court of Pettis County Law Day on the 1st day of May 2017.

Alexander Logan: age 19, Sedalia, was sentenced to two 7 year terms and five 4 year terms in the Missouri Department of Corrections after pleading guilty on 5 separate matters (4 counts Stealing and 1 count Fraudulent Use of a Credit Device) and two probation violation cases that were also related to stealing.

Ronnie Cantrell: age 54, Sedalia, was sentenced to terms of 10 and 7 years in the Department of Corrections under 217.362 after pleading guilty on two separate matters (Burglary in the first degree and a Probation Violation).

Travis Garrett: age 38, Sedalia, was sentenced to 7 years in the Missouri Department of Corrections for Forgery.

Austin S. Gruber: age 20, Sedalia,  was sentenced to 7 years in the Missouri Department of Corrections under 217.362 for Possession of a Controlled Substance (methamphetamine).

Zachariah Cameron Sparks: age 27, Sedalia, was sentenced to four 3 year sentences in the Department of Corrections on four separate matters( 2 counts Possession of a Controlled Substance[marijuana] 1 count Possession of a Controlled Substance[methamphetamine] and 1 count Unlawful Possession of a Firearm).

Kayden E. Rasmussen: age 19, Sedalia, was sentenced to concurrent 5 year sentences in the Missouri Department of Corrections after his probation was revoked.

Jeremy M. Lawson: age 32, Sedalia, was sentenced to concurrent 2 year sentences in the Missouri Department of Corrections for Driving While Revoked and Resisting Arrest.

Amy Wood: age 34, Sedalia, was sentenced to 120 days in the Pettis County Jail for Stealing.
