Marshall Man Injured on Harley Davidson in Saline County

A Marshall man was injured in a two-vehicle accident that occurred in Saline County on Wednesday.

According to the MSHP, 57-year-old Gary W. Henke of Marshall was the driver of a southbound 2003 Harley Davidson on Route YY at Fairgrounds Road at 6:25 p.m., when he lost control of the bike. The bike slid and struck the rear of a southbound 2010 Ford driven by 43-year-old Troy S. Johnston, also of Marshall.

Henke suffered moderate injuries and was taken to Fitzgibbon Hospital by Saline County EMS. Johnston was reportedly uninjured. Both were wearing safety devices, the report stated.

Both vehicles had minor damage.
