Missouri Senate Committee Looks At Proposal For I-70 Toll Road

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (AP) — A Missouri lawmaker has proposed that the state partner with a private company to make Interstate 70 a toll road. Senator Rob Schaaf told a Senate panel yesterday that the plan could help pay for needed repairs and improvements on I-70. Schaaf's bill needs committee approval before the bill can be debated by the full Senate.
