A Nixa woman was injured in a one-vehicle accident that occurred Thursday afternoon in Henry County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a 2016 Mazda CX-3, driven by 71-year-old Wanda A. Beasley of Nixa, was on Missouri 7, one-half mile north of Route B at 3:30 p.m., when the vehicle traveled off the roadway and struck a sign. It then traveled across the roadway, the median, then came to rest in the northbound lane.

Beasley suffered moderate injuries, and was transported to Belton Regional Hospital for treatment. She was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.
