O’Fallon Man Drowns In Lake St. Louis

An O'Fallon man drowned early Thursday morning in a St. Louis area lake.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that 80-year-old Jack L. Brooks of O'Fallon entered Lake St. Louis near Lake St. Louis Boulevard, and became submerged. He did not resurface. Brooks was pronounced dead at 6:34 a.m. by St. Charles County Ambulance District.

The body was taken to the St. Louis County Medical Examiner's Office by Lonning Mortuary.
