A request to turn a portion of Pacific into a one-way street was tabled by Council Monday night, pending advisement from the Citizens Traffic Advisory Committee.

A plan to make the street in front of the old J.A.. Lamy's Building, which is being developed into retail and office space, into a one-way from east to west in front of the building to facilitate more parking and improve traffic flow around the Amtrak Depot, was being worked on in cooperation with the developers, it was noted.

The idea is to allow angle parking on both sides of the street.
