The Missouri State Highway Patrol investigated a head-on car crash that occurred in Johnson County on Monday afternoon.

According to a report, a westbound 1992 Toyota Corolla driven by 17-year-old Tyler C. Cramer of Leeton traveled over the center of the roadway at 2:10 p.m. Monday on SE 710 Road, east of SE 700 Road in Johnson County, and struck an eastbound 1999 Jeep Cherokee head on, driven by 61-year-old Diana K. Mullen of Clinton.

Both drivers were wearing a safety device. Cramer had minor injuries, and refused medical treatment, according to the report.

The Corolla was totaled, while the Jeep had moderate damage.

Cramer was later arrested at 3:26 p.m. and with minor visibly intoxicated (2nd or subsequent offense), driving while suspended, no proof of insurance and C & I driving. Cramer was taken to the Warrensburg Police Department and later released.
