Three people, including two small children, suffered moderate to serious injuries in a Pettis County accident on September 23.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says a 2003 Ford Taurus crossed the center line on Olive Branch Rd. around 3 p.m. and struck a 1993 Peterbuilt head-on.

The driver of the Taurus, 19-year-old Ranelle Kropf, was taken by EMS to Western Missouri Medical Center for the treatment of moderate injuries.

1-year-old Erin Hostetler was taken by EMS to Bothwell Regional Medical Center for the treatment of moderate injuries, and 2-year-old Sienna Hostetler was taken by Life Flight to Children's Mercy Hospital for the treatment of serious injuries.

The driver of the Peterbuilt, 54-year-old Edward Parks of Sedalia, was not injured. The Peterbuilt sustained moderate damage. The Taurus was extensively damaged and towed from the scene.
