SO reports 10-9-18

On Saturday, Pettis County deputies responded to the 100 block of Villa Drive on a disturbance call. During an investigation, it was discovered that a female identified as Chelsey Z. Johnson was wanted on a Pettis County warrant. Once confirmed, Johnson was taken into custody and transported to the Pettis County Jail with a $155.50 bond.


 

On Oct. 3, Pettis County deputies responded to 1275 SE Y Highway on a report of copper theft and met with Johnson County deputies, along with employees of Rose Acre Farms. The employees stated that roughly 100 feet of copper wire was cut and stolen from the field's irrigation system. An investigation is under way.


 

On Monday, Pettis County deputies responded to a burglary in progress at 6500 Willow Brook Road. No other information was available at the time of the report.


 

On Monday, Pettis County deputies took a fraud report from Paul and Cheryl Huddleston. No other information was made available in the report.


 

On Monday, Pettis County deputies arrested Stephan Martinez from Iowa. He was placed on a 24-hour hold pending the filing of formal charges by the Pettis County prosecutor.


 

On Monday, Pettis County deputies responded to a vandalism report at Northwest Elementary School in Houstonia. An investigation is under way.


 

The Missouri State Highway Patrol arrested 50-year-old Willie R. Waddell of Otterville Sunday at 1:30 a.m. in Pettis County. He was charged with DWI-persistent offender, Driving while suspended or revoked, speeding and no seat belt. He was taken to the Pettis County Jail.
