This is a compilation of reports released by the Pettis County Sheriff's Office:

On Monday night, Pettis County Deputies conducted a traffic stop in La Monte on a vehicle that was speeding. A computer check revealed that the driver, Sye'e Haseun Thomas of Knob Noster, was wanted on a failure to appear warrant out of Pettis County. Thomas was arrested and transported to the Pettis County Jail, where he was issued summonses for driving while revoked, speeding and failure to register a motor vehicle with the DOR.


 

On Monday Pettis County Deputies arrested 57-year-old William B. Lawson of Sedalia on a warrant. Lawson was taken to the Pettis County Jail, where he remains in custody on a Pettis County warrant for 2nd degree assault. Bond on the warrant was $7,500 cash or surety.


 

On Monday, Pettis County Deputies investigated the theft of a dog from the 26000 block of Goodwill Chapel Road.


 
On Sunday around 1:45 a.m., Julissia D. Davis of Green Ridge, reported a missing runaway (juvenile) to the Pettis County Sheriff's Office.


 

On Saturday, Pettis County Deputies initiated a traffic stop on a motor vehicle at US 50 and Crestview Drive for exceeding the posted speed limit. The driver, Shalnev Alexandr of Sedalia, was found to be driving while revoked, and also was wanted on two active Pettis County warrants. Alexandr was taken into custody and transported to the Pettis County Jail, where he later posted bond on the warrants.


 

On March 10 at 3:25 p.m., Pettis County Deputies responded to 17492 Fristoe Road for a theft report. The reporting party stated that someone cut off a catalytic converter off a truck.
