The Red Light Music Series is grassroots effort to promote local-area musicians and their original works.  It happens once a month and the next one will be held Wednesday (April 9) at Dickie Doo BBQ.

This is a great chance for you to see some live, local artists doing their own original material. You’re not only supporting local music, you’re also supporting a great local venue: the legendary Dickie Doo BBQ.

I got to talk with James Bryant, the founder of the series, to tell us about what’s in store for this month.

This month's series sees the performances from Mike Todd, a folk act out of Warsaw at 8:00 p.m., followed by the bluegrass band Banjo Camp Massacre at 8:45 p.m. Definitely don't miss our on your chance to see some great local talent playing their hearts out at a Sedalia institution.

Again, it'll be April 9 at 7:00 p.m. at Dickie Doo, 4860 S. Limit. To find out more about the Red Light Music Series, listen to audio clips or find out when the next show will be and how you can get involved, visit the OIC Studios website.

Musically yours,
Behka
