Child abuse case investigated Monday afternoon
At 1:28 Monday afternoon Sedalia Police respond to Smith Cotton High School to assist the Division of Family Services on a report of an alleged child abuse case. Upon arrival the social workers indicated a female juvenile had sustained injuries as a result of an altercation with her mother. The incident is under investigation.
Walmart reports thefts of over $300 by two black males and a white female
On Monday Walmart reported two black males and a white female stole over $300 in merchandise from the store. Store personnel told Sedalia police Officers the three suspects left in a Brown 4-door Lincoln. At the time of the police report the suspects were still being sought.
Victim on South Ingram reports a door window broken
A victim in the 1700 block of South Ingram reported a door window on his house had been broken out on Monday. The cost of replacement was estimated at $50 according to the report. There were no suspects at news time.
Vehicle stolen from the Rolla area in October located in Sedalia
Just after 2pm Monday afternoon Sedalia Police located a stolen vehicle in the parking lot at 3rd and Lamine. The vehicle was reported stolen from the Rolla area in October according to the police report.
