S-C Honors ‘Visionary Educator’ Tessa Childers

Smith-Cotton High School has honored its first Visionary Educator, Tessa Childers, during her innovative creation of PLP Math class.

The award encompasses the six competencies found within the Vision of an Educator.

Once a staff member receives the award, they then nominate other staff members who demonstrate one or more of those competencies.

The award is passed from staff member to staff member, but each awardee keeps the certificate with the words describing their nomination.
