The Sacred Heart track and field team took advantage of a great opportunity to prepare for the Kaysinger Conference meet by participating in the Smith-Cotton Invitational Tuesday afternoon.

Top performances include:

Junior Jackson Manning - 1st place 3200 m run (11:09.37) PR, new school record

Senior Kate Carney - 1st place shot put (32' 11"), 3rd place discus (79' 5.25"), 5th place javelin (80' 5")

4x200 m relay - 3rd place (1:39.05) senior Jaden Velando, juniors Reuben Smith and Jackson Manning, freshman Max Van Leer

Senior Mariana Restrepo - 5th long jump (14' 0.5")

Freshman Jared Owens - 6th 800 m run (2:14.99)

The Kaysinger Conference meet is Wednesday, April 26 starting at 9 a.m. in Smithton.
