
Sedalia Man Arrested for Trespassing, Theft
Sedalia Police responded to the Wal Mart store, 3201 West Broadway Boulevard Sunday afternoon for a report of trespassing.
On arrival, Officers made contact with the suspect who had been previously issued a trespass warning.
James D. Baker, 47, of Sedalia, was arrested and transported to the Pettis County Jail, where he was booked and released.
A municipal summons for Trespassing was issued and Baker was given a court date.
Friday morning, Officers responded to the Menard's store, 4400 Wisconsin Avenue in response to a theft that occurred on January 13th.
A white male had entered the store, selected a coat, put the coat on, and then exited the store without paying for the coat. The value of the coat was placed at $49.99. Baker was later identified and arrested.
Baker was issued a summons for Stealing and Trespassing with a court date.
