
Sedalia Man Injured After Rolling Nissan Down Embankment
A Sedalia man was injured in a one-vehicle accident that occurred Thursday night in Pettis County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a northbound 2003 Nissan Xterra, driven by 23-year-old Peyton J. Thompson of Sedalia, was on Route M, south of Goodwill Chapel Road around 10:45 p.m., when the vehicle ran off the right side of the roadway and traveled down an embankment. The Nissan overturned several times and came to rest on its top.
Thompson suffered serious injuries and was transported to Bothwell Regional Health Center by PCAD.

The Nisan was totaled and towed by State Fair Towing.
Thompson was later arrested by the Patrol at 11:25 p.m. He was suspected of driving while intoxicated, and careless & imprudent driving resulting in a crash.
