The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a one-vehicle injury accident that occurred on Christmas morning in Pettis County.

Brian L. Wilson, 24, Sedalia, was southbound on Randall Road, south of Griessen Road, at 8 a.m. Sunday when the 2006 Dodge Ram he was driving traveled off the right side of the roadway and drove through a field. The vehicle crossed Randall Road and struck a tree, becoming fully engulfed in flames, the report said.

His passenger, Thomas M. Krumroy, 51, Sedalia, suffered moderate injuries in the accident, and was transported to Bothwell Regional Health Center by EMS, then later transferred to University Hospital. Wilson, who was wearing a safety device, was apparently not injured, the report indicated.

The Dodge Ram had extensive damage and was towed from the scene by Don's Truck Towing.
