Johnson County Wreck Kills Latour Man

A fatal crash that occurred in Johnson County last night took the life of a Latour man.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported the one-vehicle accident at 9:30 p.m. on SW 1871 Road, a ½ mile north of SW 800 Road.

57-year-old Rodney A. Snell was the driver of a southbound 1999 Chevy that traveled off the roadway, returned, traveled off the other side, returned again and began sliding, traveled off the roadway again, struck a ditch and overturned, striking a fence.

Snell was pronounced dead at the scene at 10:27 p.m. by Johnson County paramedic R. Bradford.
