The following Sedalia Police and Pettis County Sheriff's crime reports are from the morning of Monday, Dec. 29, 2014.

Several Mail Boxes Damaged

Pettis County Deputies received reports of several mail boxes that were damaged in the area of M Highway, McVey Road, U Highway, Kentucky and Forest Park Road in Pettis County on the night of Dec. 23. A witness reported that they saw a Ford Focus, leaving the area at the time of the property damage.

Several Thefts Reported

A woman reported to Sedalia Police that someone stole her Ruger pistol that laying on her front seat of her car, while parked at Bings West on Dec. 15.

Pettis County Deputies received a report of two heat pumps that were stolen from a home in the 2000 Block of Highway Y on Dec. 24.

A woman in the 26000 Block of Goodwill Chapel Court reported to Pettis County Deputies that sometime over Christmas Eve or Christmas Day that someone stole a black lock box, containing some rings and documents inside.

A man in the 1300 Block of South Harrison, reported to Sedalia Police that someone he knows stole his Iphone on Dec. 23.

A man in the 19000 Block of Third Road in Dresden, reported to Pettis County Deputies that someone stole a radio out of his vehicle on the night of Dec. 26 or morning of Dec. 27.

A woman in the 1500 Block of East 11th reported to Sedalia Police that a purse was stolen from a vehicle on Dec. 23.

A woman in the 1300 Block of South Grand reported to Sedalia Police that there was a theft that happened in the last two months.

Pettis County Deputies received a report of two men, driving a black truck, illegally dumped an old couch into a yard in the 27000 Block of Griessen Road on the afternoon of Dec. 23.

A woman in the 3300 Block of South Park reported to Sedalia Police that she saw someone drive a small truck through her yard and fish tailed around, causing large ruts in her yard on the early morning of Dec. 23.

Two Accidents Investigated

Sedalia Police investigated a hit and run accident that happened around 1 p.m. on Dec. 24 in the Bings Parking Lot, in the 1400 Block of South Limit. The reporting party said that there was minor damage to the rear driver side of the vehicle.

Pettis County Deputies responded to a non-injury accident at Highway 65 South and Flat Creek Bridge that happened at 7:30 A.M. on Dec. 23. The accident, was caused by icy road conditions.

An Assault and Domestic Disturbance Investigated

Sedalia Police received a report of an assault in the 1800 Block of South Osage.

Pettis County Deputies received a report of a domestic disturbance and property damage that happened in Green Ridge on Dec. 24.
Seven Arrests Made

Sedalia Police arrested Elisco Aguilar Jr. for stealing cash from a building at the American Inn Motel.

Pettis County Deputies arrested Brandon Ede after a vehicle stop on two active warrants. One warrant was out of the Sedalia Police Department for $150 cash and the other being an active warrant out of Saline County for $1,000 cash or surety.

Sedalia Police arrested James Stoneking for failure to appear-misdemeanor, bond set at $500 cash.

Sedalia Police arrested Treston Clay for resisting arrest after running on foot after a traffic stop.

Sedalia Police arrested Joseph Robinson for trespassing.

Sedalia Police arrested Tyesha Peck for being a fugitive of justice from out of state.

Pettis County Deputies arrested Carlos Sanchez-Lopez of Columbia for driving without a license and failing to yield to an emergency vehicle.
