The following Sedalia Police and Pettis County Sheriff's crime reports are from the morning of Thursday, August 7, 2014.

Yesterday (August 6), Sedalia Police responded to the 700 Block of South Limit on a report of possible gun shots. Sedalia Police found that the woman's vehicle had a circular crack in the windshield, but it was not consistent with gunshots. The window had $250 in damages.

A man in the 1200 Block of South Carr, reported to Sedalia Police that his 2011 Chevy Silverado was stolen from behind the house, by the garage.

A man in the 3500 Block of South Park Avenue reported to Sedalia Police yesterday (August 6), that someone broke into his detached garage and stole $10,000 in tools and stereo equipment.

A man in the 1400 Block of East 37th Street reported to Pettis County Deputies that someone stole an mp3 player, 8 cds, a black laptop bag, military documents and a blue tooth controller from a vehicle on August 5 or 6.

Sedalia Police arrested Lee Richards for having two warrants out of Johnson County, bond set at $5,300.
