The following Sedalia Police and Pettis County Sheriff's crime reports are from the morning of Wednesday, July 23, 2014.

Sedalia Police Apprehend Four Suspects on Smith-Cotton Jr. High Roof

Last night (July 22), Sedalia Police responded to the Smith Cotton Jr. High School on a report of people on the roof. Sedalia Police found two adults and two juveniles trespassing on top of the school and were apprehended. The two unnamed adults were arrested and the two juveniles were referred to the Pettis County Juvenile Office.

Several Thefts Reported

A man in the 1000 Block of East Broadway reported to Sedalia Police that someone stole his bicycle from his home on July 17.

A wire rack was stolen from a showroom in the 3100 Block of West Broadway.

A woman in the 800 Block of LaGrand Avenue reported to Sedalia Police that a 'For Rent' sign, valued at $20, was stolen on two different occasions.

A man in the 3000 Block of South Limit reported to Sedalia Police that someone broke into the front door and stole items from inside, on Saturday (July 19).

Yesterday (July 22), A woman in the 400 Block of West 10th reported to Sedalia Police that someone got into her two unlocked vehicles and took $5 in change and the owner manual out of each car.

A woman in the 2800 Block of East Broadway, reported to Sedalia Police that someone took money from car, between 8 am and Noon on July 19.

Pettis County Deputies received a report of a theft that occurred in the 200 Block of Second Street in Hughesville, yesterday (July 22).

A woman reported to Sedalia Police that she was assaulted in the 1000 Block of East 12th.

A woman reported to Pettis County Deputies that she received threatening text messages and voice messages from someone she knows.

Yesterday morning (July 22), at 9:25, a man reported to Sedalia Police that he was the victim of a hit and run accident at Thompson Boulevard and Highway 50. The man's car received extensive damage down the passenger side of the car.

Eight Arrests Made

Sedalia Police arrested William Vineyard for domestic assault in the 3rd degree.

Sedalia Police arrested Christopher Hanes for driving while intoxicated.

Sedalia Police arrested Brianna Johnson for a probation and parole violation warrant.

Sedalia Police arrested Samantha Carter for a Cooper County failure to appear charge, bond set at $10 cash.

Sedalia Police arrested Lowell Corbett for driving while suspended and driving while intoxicated-persistent offender.

Sedalia Police arrested Tylar Simon for leaving the scene of an accident.

Pettis County Deputies arrested Edgar Carlos of Sedalia dor driving while revoked.

Pettis County Deputies arrested Shane Morgan for having active Pettis County warrants.
