Traffic stop on Thursday morning nets a suspended driver
Around 10:30 Thursday morning, Sedalia Police stopped a vehicle at Broadway and Park for defective license plate lights. A check on the driver, 27-year-old Brandon Schnieder of Sedalia, revealed he was a suspended driver. Schnieder was arrested and taken to the Pettis County jail where he was booked and released with a court date.
Kmart files a theft complaint with Sedalia Police this morning
At 6:45 this morning, Sedalia Police took a theft complaint from management at the Kmart Store at 1400 South Limit. According to the complainant, someone stole 150 pallets from the back of the store. The value of the pallets was $6.00 each for a total of $900. There was no information on possible suspects.
Vandals damage mailboxes in the area of 24th and Kentucky
Around 7 a.m. this morning, Sedalia Police took reports on three separate cases of vandalism that took place in the area of 24th and Kentucky. According to the reports, someone drove over three mailboxes in the area. There were no suspects at news time.
