The following Sedalia Police crime reports are from the afternoon of June 19, 2013.

Theft reports from the Sedalia Police Department

Around 6:00 Tuesday evening, a female victim filed a theft complaint with the Sedalia Police Department. According to the victim, her purse was ransacked in her vehicle while she was inside the Casey's at 1601 East Broadway. Taken in the theft was $4 in cash and over a hundred prescription pain pills.

Two property damage reports were filed early this morning by two liquor Stores in Sedalia. The first incident was at the Liquor Locker at 513 West Main. When officers arrived, they found a door on the business had been damaged. The owner of the business placed the damage at $200. The suspects had not made entry to the business according to the police report.

The second property damage incident involved a broken glass in the front door of State Fair Spirits located at 1419 South Limit. The damage was reported by a subject passing by. The police report states that two landscape blocks were found at the scene. There was no information on missing items in that incident. There were no suspects in the two similar incidents at news time.
