Here are your Sedalia Police crime reports for the afternoon of Nov. 30, 2012.

Wire thieves apprehended Thursday by Sedalia police

A press release from the Sedalia Police Department this (Friday) morning states the Sedalia Police STING Unit received information that wire taken in thefts from RCL Wiring, located at 601 South Marshall, had been stripped at a location in the 600 block of West Pettis. The press release states police went to the location and found one of the suspects along with spools from the wiring and material stripped from the wire. Arrested in the thefts were 20-year-old Jonathon Fulton and 27-year-old Jonathon Hibler both of Sedalia. At the time of the police report, both men were in the Pettis County Jail on 24-hour hold pending charges of stealing and trespassing. Value of the stolen wire was placed at $7000.

23-year old Sedalia man arrested for domestic assault

Around 11:00 Thursday morning, Sedalia police responded to the 1000 block of South Osage on a reported assault. Following an investigation, officers arrested 23-year-old Justin Brandkamp of the residence and transported him to the Pettis County Jail where he was booked and released pending a municipal charge of domestic assault.

Local business reports a truck stolen sometime overnight

At 6:30 this (Friday) morning, Sedalia police took a theft complaint from the owner of “Hard Scape” Landscaping at 1014 Market. According to the victim, someone stole a 1996 Chevrolet 3500 flatbed truck from the business sometime overnight . There were no suspects at the time of the police report.

Sedalia police investigate a burglary in the 1400 block of East 5th Thursday

At 12:17 Thursday afternoon, Sedalia police were dispatched to a residence in the 1400 block of East 5th. Upon arrival, the victim told officers someone broke into a home she was fixing up. The victim said approximately $650 in thefts and damages resulted from the burglary. There were no suspects.
