Disturbance results in arrest of a 27-year-old woman
Just after 5 o’clock Friday evening, Sedalia police investigated a disturbance in the 1000 block of West 9th. Upon contact with the two subjects involved in the disturbance, officers found,that one of them, identified as 27-year-old Kimberly Moore of Sedalia, had two Pettis County Warrants and a Municipal Warrant out of Sedalia. At the time of the police report, Moore was in the Pettis County Jail pending $2750 bond on the two Pettis County Warrants and $86.50 bond on the Municipal Warrant.
Man arrested at Pettis County jail on a stealing charge
At 2:15 Saturday afternoon, Sedalia police arrested a shoplifter at the Pettis County Jail. According to the police report, officers arrested 26-year-old Richard Batzel of Sedalia at the jail after reviewing security video at the Walmart store. Batzel was placed on 24-hour hold pending formal charges.
Victim in the 2900 block of West Main reported thefts from her vehicle
Around 10:30 Sunday morning, a victim in the 2900 block of West Main filed a theft complaint with the Sedalia Police Department. According to the female victim, thieves stole her rear license plate and a Kenwood Stereo from her vehicle sometime overnight. There are no suspects at news time.
