Sedalia Police reports 2-28-20

On Saturday around 9:20 p.m., Sedalia Police received a trespassing complaint in the 1000 block of South Barrett. According to a report, a complainant was having problems with a juvenile male trespassing on his property with mailed packages stolen. The same suspect keeps returning to the area, he said.


On Saturday at 3:20 a.m., at 24th and Lafayette, Sedalia Police arrested 21-year-old Domonique Jones of Sedalia. He was charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Jones was taken to the Pettis County on a 24-hour hold.


 

On Feb. 21 just after 9 p.m., Sedalia Police conducted a traffic stop at Boonville and Heard on a vehicle with defective brake lights and also the failed to maintain their vehicle on the right side of the roadway. 51-year-old Ronald Edward Stone of Sedalia was found to be intoxicated. He was taken into custody and transported to the SPD for further testing, then on to the Pettis County Jail, where he was booked and released to a sober person or after becoming sober.


 

On Feb. 15, Sedalia Police took a report of stealing at Woods Express involving a customer who used a fake $20 to purchase merchandise. According to a report, the suspect left with $3.12 in merchandise and $16.88 in change. Video of the suspect was obtained. He was later located and arrested. 21-year-old David Alexander Gonzalez Juarez of Sedalia was taken into custody in the 1200 block of E. 6th and transported to the Pettis County Jail, where he was booked and released with a Feb. 24 court date.
