
Sedalia Police Reports for October 10, 2024

Wednesday night, Officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle with expired registration. The stop took place near East Broadway Boulevard and South New York Avenue. During the course of the investigation, it was discovered the driver had a revoked driving status. Troy Dale Fogarty, 42, of Sedalia, was arrested on a charge of Driving While Revoked. Fogarty was issued a Uniform Traffic Ticket, and released.
Early Thursday morning, Officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle near the intersection of West 16th Street and South Moniteau Avenue. The driver of the vehicle was found to have no driver’s license. Piper Louanna Thorne, 20, of Sedalia, was arrested on a charge of Operator’s License Required. Thorne was issued a summons and released on scene. The passenger in the vehicle was found to have a warrant for his arrest from Pettis County. Alex Charles Matz, 23, of Sedalia, was arrested for his FTA warrant on original charges of Driving While Revoked (1st Offense). Matz was transported to the Pettis County Jail, pending a cash only bond of $250.00.
On the night of October 4th, Officers were dispatched to a traffic complaint near the 3200 block of West Broadway Boulevard. Officers made contact with the suspect and during the course of the investigation, determined the driver was intoxicated. Ivan Davila Medina, 26, of Sedalia was arrested on a charge of Driving While Intoxicated (Alcohol and Drugs). Medina was transported to the Pettis County Jail.
Last Saturday night, Officers conducted a traffic stop on a motorcycle that was not displaying a registration plate near East 5th Street and South Lamine Avenue. A computer check showed the operator to have a revoked driving status. James Marlon Curd, 31, of Sedalia, was arrested on a charge of Driving While Revoked. Curd was transported to the Pettis County Jail to be booked and released.
On the afternoon of September 25th, Officers spoke with Richard Thomas in the 800 block of East 19th Street. Thomas reported his garage was broken into, and an item was stolen.
Sedalia Police conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of Broadway and Osage last Sunday morning on a vehicle with defective equipment. The vehicle also had made an improper turn. Officers conducted an investigation, and determined the driver was intoxicated. Jordan Leigh Lange, 33, of Sedalia, was arrested on charges of Failure to Maintain Financial Responsibility, Improper Left Turn, Operating a Motor Vehicle Without Operational Tail Lamps, Failure to Wear a Seat Belt, and Driving While Intoxicated (Drugs). Lange was transported to the Pettis County jail to be booked and released.
Officers conducted a traffic stop on Monday afternoon into the Missouri State Fairgrounds. The vehicle was travelling at 45 MPH in a 35 MPH zone. The Officers identified the driver, who had a suspended license, and placed her under arrest. Payge Marie Glover, 28, of Sedalia, was arrested on charges of No Proof of Insurance, Speeding, Failure to Wear a Seat Belt, Improper Transport of Children Under the Age of 16, and Driving While Suspended. Glover was transported to the Pettis County Jail to be booked and released.

Tuesday afternoon, Officers were dispatched to a hit and run collision that occurred in the parking lot of 34401 Wisconsin Avenue. Fallon Barbour gave details to Officers. A report was generated in reference to the incident.
Wednesday morning, Officers conducted a traffic stop on a SUV at the intersection of Broadway and Sunset for failing to display its registration. A report was generated in reference to the incident, but there are no further details in the report.
Sedalia Police were dispatched to the intersection of Broadway and Lamine to help a vehicle stuck on the roadway Wednesday afternoon. Officers identified the driver, an individual without a license, and placed her under arrest. The driver’s vehicle was towed from the scene. Raquel Griselda Leiva Leon, 33, of Sedalia, was released on scene with a municipal summons for Operator’s License Required.
Wednesday morning, Officers conducted a vehicle stop near the intersection of West Broadway Boulevard and South Beacon Avenue. The driver was arrested and released on scene. Macrina A. Cuevas Aguirre, 38, of Sedalia, was cited for No Proof of Insurance, Operator’s License Required, and Speeding (11-15 MPH Over).
