Sedalia Police Respond To Brush Fire

Yesterday morning (Dec. 6), Sedalia Police went to Crown Hill Cemetery in reference to a brush fire. Officers made contact with two subjects who admitted to starting the fire. Ricky Roberts and Lori Hadley were arrested for being in possession of a controlled substance.  Hadley was also charged with being in possession of drug paraphernalia.

Sedalia Police Investigate Several Thefts

A woman in the 3100 Block of Katy Trail Avenue reported to Sedalia Police that on Dec. 3, she was contacted by Overstock.com and QVC and was told that someone attempted to place an order with the company using her credit card number. The victim canceled the order and the account.

Yesterday (Dec. 6), Sedalia Police responded to the 300 Block of East 6th for two separate cases of theft. In in the first case, someone entered a shed and stole $200 in items. The second case, somebody entered a detached garage and stole tools within the garage, valued at $100.

Sedalia Police Make Arrests

Sedalia Police arrested Claude McCollom for two charges of failure to appear, bond set at $1,500 cash/surety.

Sedalia Police arrested Earnest Brown for driving while revoked.
