A Sedalia teenager was injured when the SUV he was driving rolled over northeast of Sedalia on Wednesday.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a 16-year-old male from Sedalia was driving a 2003 Dodge Durango east on Griessen Road, west of Randall Road around 5:30 p.m., when the young driver lost control on loose gravel, ran off the road, struck a ditch and overturned.

The male was transported by PCAD to University Hospital in Columbia with moderate injuries.

The Durango was totaled and towed from the scene by InMotion.
