Sedalia Teen Injured in Rear-end Crash at Versailles
A Sedalia teen was injured in a three-vehicle accident that occurred in Morgan County Friday afternoon.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 19-year-old Tiara N. Tindell of Sedalia suffered moderate injuries in the wreck, as did 20-year-old Jessica Byars of Fortuna.
The report indicated that two eastbound vehicles were stopped in traffic at 3:38 p.m. on Highway 52, about 200 feet west of Versailles, when an eastbound 2005 Chrysler Town & Country driven by Tindell struck the rear of a 2010 Ford Fusion driven by 60-year-old James M. Oyler of Lee's Summit. The Fusion was pushed into a 2014 Ford Fusion driven by 41-year-old Brandy E. Conrad of Versailles.
Tindell was transported by EMS to Bothwell Regional Health Center, while her passenger Byars was transported to Mid-Mo Ambulance to Capital Regional Medical Center.
The 2014 Fusion had minor damage, while the 2010 Fusion and the Chrysler were totaled. All involved were wearing a safety device, the report stated.
