One woman and three juveniles, all from Sedalia, were injured in a one-vehicle accident that occurred Friday morning in Pettis County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a southbound 2005 Dodge, driven by 39-year-old Jennifer L. Jones of Sedalia, was on Route TT at Lamm's Ford Road (southeast of Sedalia) around 11:30 a.m., when the driver lost control of the Dodge at a high rate of speed, traveled off the roadway, traveled over and off Lamm's Road, became airborne and came to rest off the roadway.

Jones suffered moderate injuries, as did her three passengers, two males ages 6 & 9, and a female age 5. Jones was transported by EMS To University Hospital in Columbia, while the juveniles were transported to Bothwell Regional Health Center for treatment. None were wearing a seat belt or safety device at the time of the crash, according to the report.

The Dodge was totaled and towed from the scene by InMotion.

Jones was later arrested by the Patrol at 12:08 p.m. She was suspected of driving while intoxicated by drugs, failure to maintain the right half of the roadway resulting in a crash, two counts of child seat violations, two counts of seat belt violations and no valid driver's license. Jones was taken to the Pettis County Jail, where she was booked and released.
