A Sedalia woman suffered minor injuries early Thursday morning when the vehicle she was driving left the roadway and into a field in Pettis County.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 30-year-old Lindsay A. Willis of Sedalia was the driver of a northbound 2015 GMC Yukon on Engineer at Reine Avenue at 1:30 a.m. Jan. 16, when she ran off the north side of the road, striking several trees before coming to rest in a field.

Willis was taken to Bothwell Regional Health Center for treatment. She was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident, the report said.

The Yukon had extensive damage and was towed from the scene by Don's Truck Towing.
