Sedalia Woman Injured in Pettis County Wreck
A 61-year-old Sedalia woman was moderately injured Friday afternoon in a Pettis County accident.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Mildred L. Brown of Sedalia was the driver of a southbound 2017 Jeep Wrangler on US Highway 65, south of Smasal Road at 12:36 p.m, when she slowed and was struck in the rear by a southbound 2020 Peterbuilt driven by 41-year-old Richard F. Martin of Dolph, Ark.
Brown suffered moderate injuries and was transported by PCAD to Western Missouri Medical Center.
Both drivers were wearing a safety device, according to the report.
Both vehicles were totaled.
