A Sedalia woman was injured in a rear-end collision that occurred Sunday afternoon in Pettis County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a westbound 2020 Jeep, driven by 62-year-old Jill A. Haney of Sedalia had slowed on Route Y to make a left-hand turn onto Willow Drive at 12:16 p.m., when a westbound 2002 Toyota, driven by a 16-year-old male juvenile from La Monte, struck the rear of the Jeep, causing the Jeep to slide off the roadway and strike a brick post.

Haney suffered minor injuries and was transported by private vehicle to Bothwell Regional Health Center for treatment.

The juvenile was reportedly uninjured. Both drivers were wearing their seat belt at the time of the crash.

Both vehicles had extensive damage and were towed from the scene.
