3 Area Cemeteries to be Cleaned March 19

Maintenance crews will be cleaning three area cemeteries on Monday, March 19.

The cemeteries that will be cleaned and maintained include, Crown Hill, Calvary, and Hebrew cemeteries.

Crews are requesting that area residents remove any flowers, crosses, stuffed toys, and ornaments from the gravesites by Sunday, March 18.

Residents can begin putting flowers back on the gravesites Saturday, March 24. In order for mowing and weedeating crews to conduct maintenance, residents are asked to use shepherds hooks when placing flowers on the graves of loved ones, instead of placing them on the ground.
