
Smith-Cotton National Honor Society Inducts 57 New Members
The Smith-Cotton High School chapter of the National Honor Society inducted 57 new members at a ceremony on Wednesday, March 15th, in the Heckart Performing Arts Center.
A press release from Smith-Cotton says, the event included recognition of this year's NHS Honorary Member, Smith-Cotton Spanish teacher, Andrea Eppenauer. The ceremony also included the "passing of the spoons," from the current Community Café board members to their incoming replacements.
According to its website, National Honor Society recognizes "students who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of scholarship, service, leadership, and character."
