One of those recurring things that everybody hears about from their schooling days is the infamous reunion.  The Smithton Class of 1988 are having a few events this weekend to get together and celebrate homecoming. I have yet to be to one of my class reunions.  I'm not sure why exactly; I mean, I guess that's not true.  I do know why I didn't go to my ten year reunion.  I was on vacation at the time, and I had already booked a hotel and a plane ticket and tons of stuff like that in New York City.  So I guess it's understandable why I didn't go to that one.  Maybe when the 20th anniversary comes up?  Eeek.  I don't wanna think about how old I'll be then.  But this weekend will have some fun in store for the folks who went to school over in Smithton.

The Smithton Class Reunion Events include a Jan. 24 Homecoming at Smithton School. The event starts at 6:30 p.m. and the entire family is invited. On Jan. 25, there will be a special reception at Hotel Bothwell Basement Banquet Room for classmates and guests. The event starts at 6:00 p.m. with a Social Hour til 7:00 p.m., when dinner will be served.

For more information and to RSVP, contact Shelly Kempton at 660-826-5165 or Becky Shull 660-826-3184.  Don't miss out on some great homecoming fun and the chance to reminisce with some old friends.

Reunionly yours,

Behka
