Stover Man Killed in Morgan County Crash
A Stover man was killed in a one-vehicle crash that occurred Tuesday morning in Morgan County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a northbound 1990 Chevy Corvette, driven by 68-year-old Ricky D. Erichsen of Stover, was on Ivy Bend Road, south of Missouri 135 just after 11 a.m., when the Corvette started skidding and traveled off the left side of the roadway. The vehicle then struck a stump.
Erichsen, who was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash, was pronounced dead at the scene by Paramedic Ryan Maclean at 11:31 a.m.

This was Troop F's second fatality for February and the fourth for 2024.
The Corvette was totaled and towed.
There were a total of five Troopers on scene.
