Three 21-year-olds Arrested In Clinton On Drug Charges

On Thursday, Officers from the Clinton Police Department conducted surveillance of a residence in the 700 block of East Lincoln Street, prior to the execution of a search warrant for the residence.

During surveillance, Officers observed a suspect approach the residence and conduct a hand to hand transaction at the front door.

A traffic stop was conducted for a traffic violation and the driver was identified as 21-year-old Terrin Blum of Windsor. A consent search of Blum and his vehicle was conducted. Officers located a bag of marijuana and a Schedule IV controlled substance on Blum’s person. Blum was arrested, processed, and released for possession of marijuana and possession of a controlled substance.

The search warrant was then executed by Officers at the residence. Several large bags of marijuana, along with controlled substances and over $4,000 in cash were seized.

21-year-old Hayden McClure and 21-year-old Alexis Turner, both of Clinton, were arrested on a 24-hour investigation of Distribution of Controlled Substance within a protected area (School Zone), a Class A felony.
