Three Adults Arrested at Sedalia WalMart for Drug Trafficking, Stolen Vehicles
On Tuesday, Feb. 20, the Sedalia Police Department's Crime Resolution Unit received information that a stolen vehicle was located in the parking lot of WalMart, 3201 W. Broadway Blvd.
According to a SPD press release, a deputy with the Pettis County Sheriff’s Department was close to the area and arrived on scene, locating the vehicle and detaining three subjects, one of whom was found to be in possession of a firearm. A Sedalia Police unit arrived shortly thereafter and detained a fourth subject.
An on-scene investigation led to the discovery of a second stolen vehicle associated with the detained subjects. During inventory searches of the vehicle, a substantial amount of methamphetamine was located in one of the stolen vehicles.
At the conclusion of the investigation, three adults and one juvenile were taken into custody.
The suspect and charges being requested are as follows:
Rogelio Munoz, 23 years old:
• Trafficking Drugs, 2nd Degree (Methamphetamine)
• Possession of a Controlled Substance
• Tampering with a Motor Vehicle, 1st Degree
Jose Reyes, 34 years old:
• Trafficking Drugs, 2nd Degree (Methamphetamine)
• Possession of a Controlled Substance
• Tampering with a Motor Vehicle, 1st Degree
Jeison Munoz, 22 years old:
• Trafficking Drugs, 2nd Degree (Methamphetamine)
• Possession of a Controlled Substance
• Tampering with a Motor Vehicle, 1st Degree
