Two Injured at 50 & MM

Two people were injured in a two-vehicle accident that occurred Wednesday afternoon in Pettis County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that an eastbound 2021 GMC box truck, driven by 68-year-old Monte L. Truesdell of Slater, struck an eastbound 2017 Nissan Sentra, driven by 49-year-old Dora E. Costilla of Sedalia, at US 50 and Route MM.

Both drivers suffered minor injuries. Costilla was transported to Bothwell Regional Health Center by PCAD, while Truesdell refused treatment at the scene. Both were wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.

Both vehicles were totaled and towed from the scene.
