Two Injured in JoCo Rear-end Collision
Two people were injured in a two-vehicle accident that occurred Thursday morning in Johnson County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that an eastbound 2006 Chrysler Pacifica, driven by 41-year-old Arley R. Myers of Odessa, was on US 50, east of NW 1051 Road (east of Pittsville) around 6:45 a.m., when an eastbound 2005 Chevy Malibu, driven by 20-year-old Thomas N. Carter of Blue Springs, struck the rear of the Chrysler.
Carter suffered moderate injuries, while a passenger in the Chrysler, 33-year-old Ashley S. Myers of Odessa, suffered minor injuries. Myers was transported to Western Missouri Medical Center by JCAD, while Carter refused treatment on scene, and sought his own treatment at the VA in KCMO.
